Putting the 'meat' into the beef show

Stephanie Kimpe was having a good day.

"She's got three in this one show," said her proud father.

Meanwhile, Kimpe began to rack up some state fair trips, championships and reserve championships.

It was all part of the Beef Show on display at the Lyon County Fair on Thursday.

It was the first day of the performance judging for cattle and the event took the entire morning.

More judging will happen today in ther categories including goats and sheep.

The free fair continues in Marshall until Sunday.
