Pohlen completes ‘Dynamic Dozen Program’: Donates to United Way

Casey Pohlen of Minneota was selected to participate in the U.S. Bank Dynamic Dozen program. This program brings together the best and brightest of their young professionals to provide perspectives and views on innovative ideas, products, services and overall employee experience.

She serves as a Financial Analyst for the company. U.S. Bank President & CEO, Andy Cecere, presented the opportunity to provide a charitable gift on behalf of participants upon completion of the program.

Pohlen selected the United Way of Southwest Minnesota to receive the $5,000 grant made on her behalf by U.S. Bank.

“I wanted to make a donation that supported local initiatives so United Way of Southwest Minnesota was an obvious choice,” shared Pohlen.

More than 50,000 local people are being served through United Way of Southwest Minnesota initiatives, community partner programs and partnerships in 2017-18.

United Way fights for the health, education and financial stability of every person in every community. In southwest Minnesota, work focuses on: health, education, financial stability, hunger and safety and well-being.

Over the last 15 years, United Way of Southwest Minnesota has re-invested more than $5.9 million locally to benefit the lives of our friends and neighbors. Many businesses and organizations donate each year to the local United Way in an effort to give many others opportunities they would not normally have.

The United Way fund-raising project is currently underway and is getting close to its conclusion.

Results of the annual United Way drive will be announced in the Minneota Mascot as soon as they have been completed.
