New schedule set for Catholic Schools Week
Catholic Schools Week at St. Edward School in Minneota was interrupted this week due to inclement weather. As a result, a new schedule of events has been post and the week will continue on through the final event, Mardi Gras at 12:30 to 2 p.m. on Friday, February 8.
Here is the new schedule:
Thursday, Jan. 31 (Today)
“Workout Day”
•Medallion Hunt begins
•Alumni Lunch, 11:40
•Card Shower for clergy
•Morning prayer for students, 10:10 in the church
•Collection for Sisters of Mary Morning Star.
•Human Foosball, 1-2:30 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 1
•Collection of Hygiene Products and socks for homeless shelter
•Family Lunch
Saturday, Feb. 2
•Magical Night Out with Jett Skrien at American Legion, auction.
Monday, February 2
“Duct Tape Day”
•Student Council serves lunch
•1-2 p.m. — Service Projects
•Duct Tape Fashion Show and event, 2:30 p.m.
Tuesday, February 5
“Career Day”
•Spelling Bee (Grades 4-8), 10:45 a.m.
•Collection of non-perishable food items for area food shelf.
•Teachers serve lunch
•Mini-Sessions 1:20-2:10
Wednesday, Feb. 6
“Summer Day”
•School Mass 10:30 a.m. (Grades 5 & 6)
•Family Lunch
Friday, Feb. 8
“Mardi Gras”
•Mardi Gras 12:30 to 2 p.m.
