As has been the case most of this spring and summer, heavy rains have continued to inundate the Minneota community and area. Rain measuring up to four inches, accompanied by heavy thunder and lightening struck the area again on Sunday night/Monday morning.
The already saturated Yellow Medicine River in Minneota was again nearing bridge level.
