Minnesota's precinct caucuses Feb. 6

Beginning January 17 voters are able to look up their caucus locations using the Minnesota Secretary of State Caucus Finder at http://caucusfinder.sos.state.mn.us, which is also linked at www.lyonco.org. Link the caucus finder on your website, if so desired.

Counties can download Excel files containing each party’s precinct caucus locations and then forward the location detail to municipalities and to others who request the information. There is currently an issue with locations for one of the parties in Lyon County.

The caucus finder works for both parties when entering an address, but the Excel file does not show any locations or addresses in Lyon County for one party.

Please contact the Lyon County office if you would like the Excel files whenever the locations/addresses issue is resolved. Please be aware that caucus location changes, in any, will be available by 3 p.m. each day, so it is possible any list provided could change.

On caucus night, the Secretary of State caucus webpage will link to party websites for caucus results.

After parties have finalized their results, they will submit a file to the Secretary of State’s office which will be accessible from their election results webpage (http://www.sos.state.mn.us/elections-voting/election-results/).

Election season isn’t very far away, only 209 days until the state primary on 8/14 and only 293 days until the state general on Nov. 6.
