FFA WEEK HERE PUT ON HOLD

Although this week is dubbed FFA Week, the pandemic has put it on hold in Minneota.
"We plan on doing something this spring when the weather is nice and we are allowed to interact more with other classes," said Matt Buysse, who has been the Minneota FFA Advisor the past four years.
This year, FFA Week is held from Feb. 20-27. On Friday, Feb. 26, "National Wear Blue Day" is designed to show your FFA pride.
"We will still wear blue attire on Friday," Buysse noted.Each year, FFA chapters around the country celebrate National FFA Week. It’s a time to share what FFA is and the impact it has on members every day.
Normally, FFA Week at Minneota would be celebrated with various activities and events scheduled throughout the week.
"We would do things like having FFA members interacting with the elementary classes and presenting them with various FFA presentations and projects," Buysse said. "We would also be holding our waffle feed. We plan on having that later this year if we are able to."
