FFA Judging Teams back in action


On Tuesday, October 3, 18 Minneota FFA students attended the University of Minnesota fall invite participating in Dairy and General livestock judging.
For many of the students, it was their first time judging at a competition.
For Dairy Cattle Evaluation, Minneota had two teams. Minneota 2 was the fifth place team out of 66 teams. Top placings for Minneota Dairy 2 were Brooke Moorse at 14th and Grady Moorse at 19th. Other team members included Logan Schuelke and Emily Buysse.
Minneota Dairy 1 placed 46th out of 66 teams and consisted of Kira Gifford, Joe Verschelde, Zack Fier and Josh Schuelke.
The General Livestock Evaluation team also sent two teams. Minneota 2 placed 16th out of 93 teams. Top placings for that team included Carly Van Keulen placing 23rd and Layne Lozinski 51st.
Other team members included Isabelle Kimpe, Brittany Kimpe and Brynn Lozinski. Minneota 1 placed 22nd out of 93 teams.
Top placings were Gared Moorse taking 16th and Joey Rybinski placing 86th. Other team members included Dylan Vlaminck, Brady Gifford and Lane Loyson.
