Couple wearing swastika masks are banned from Marshall Walmart

A man and a woman shopping at Walmart in Marshall Saturday morning while wearing swastika face masks were seen captured on a video circulating on social media arguing with other customers while standing in the checkout line.
The woman told those arguing with her that she did not approve of Governor Walz's recent Executive Order requiring face coverings or masks be worn inside building and business establishments beginning last Saturday.
"You're sick," a male voice could be heard telling the woman. "You have an illness. You can't be American and wear that mask."
The woman responded by raising both arms in the air in defiance.
Marshall police responded to the incident at 11:46 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, according to their report. Police issued trespass notices, or a written warning, to the man and woman that they will be in violation of trespassing if they return to the store.
A spokesperson for Walmart issued the following statement:
"What happened today at our store in Marshall is unacceptable. We strive to provide a safe and comfortable shopping environment for all our customers and will not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment in any aspect of our business. We are asking everyone to wear face coverings when they enter our stores for their safety and the safety of others and it’s unfortunate that some individuals have taken this pandemic as an opportunity to create a distressing situation for customers and associates in our store."
