County board gets connected with Lincoln Pipestone water

The Lyon County Board has not been happy with the Lincoln Pipestone Water Board because of a lack of representation to bring back information to the county board.

The Lincoln Pipestone Board has reacted to the request and approved a liaison to the Lincoln Pipestone meetings.

“We were not happy with the system and made it known, it behooves us to appoint an agent from this county who can send out pertinent information to the other counties,” said Commissioner Rick Anderson.

As a result, the board appointed Commissioner Gary Crowley as the “liaison” to the water board’s meetings.

“He will report back after the meeting,” said Commission Chairman Paul Graupmann, who urged Crowley to make reports to other counties.
