City-wide garage sale is back!

Start cleaning out your closets, attics and garages. After a one-year hiatus, the Mascot is happy to announce that the 10th annual City-Wide Garage Sale will return on Friday and Saturday, April 30 and May 1.
Last year's event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Community members who wish to participate in this year's City-Wide Garage Sale now have two years worth of items they may have been waiting to get rid of. If that's the case, it might makes this year's event bigger and better than ever.
Some local businesses have indicated that they would also like to get involved this year by having special sales, prizes or treats.
"We're excited to be able to have the garage sale again this year," said one homeowner who usually holds a garage sale. "I had so much stuff to sell last year. Now I will be able to have a really big sale."
The Mascot will be involved in having a rummage sale outside its office, and will also be selling treats that day.
