Burning the flag, legally

There is one way to properly burn a flag — and that is the military disposal method. On Veteran’s Day, Minneota-Taunton VFW and Legion members gathered to properly destroy 100 no longer serviceable flags.

Ed Lozinski and Jerry Kloos disposed of some flags. So did VFW Commander Pam Gregor. Before they were burned, Minneota Legion Commander Jim Fink led them through the American Legion’s suggested method of disposal.
