As summer begins to wind down, construction and improvement projects are in full swing as they try to beat the impending Minnesota winter that invades every year. The new four-plex on North Adams and Third Street is now up and most of the work will center on the interior. The facility will house four families. The garages for each unit are in front of the living quarters (above). On County Road 3, the bridge is still out as workers pause from construction of a new bridge. Traffic has been routed away from the area (top, right). This is a county project. In Minneota, North Washington Street was seal coated. On the left, the city crew used the street sweeper to pick up excess. Streets as well as buildings are being readied for the winter.
