Youth Safety Vests Available From the Minnesota Farm Bureau

As part of the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee's commitment to farm safety, the group is selling youth safety vests to help keep the next generation safe on the farm.

These hi-vis safety vests help to promote safe practices on the farm by keeping youth more visible, and can be worn over clothing to keep kids safe year round. The vests also encourage conversation with youth about the importance of farm safety.

Vests are available for $5 each and are available on the MFBF website.

Safety is an important topic every day of the year. Farm Bureau promotes safety and health in agriculture and rural communities to help reduce the number of farming-related accidents. MFBF County Farm Bureaus participate and host activities like farm and home safety forums for youth and adults to help promote safe practices and increase public awareness.

In 2021, 110 of our members volunteered to educate Minnesotans about the importance of farm safety. Through those events, over 2,000 youth and 200 adults heard the important message.
