At the Pheasants Forever Minnesota State Convention, the Buffalo Ridge Pheasants Forever Chapter, Lincoln Co. Minnesota was recognized for achieving the $2,000,000 dollar mark in contributions towards local habitat and conservation work in Lincoln Co. and the state of Minnesota.
Mike Bloom was also recognized with the Long Spurs award for his long standing dedication to the chapter and Pheasants Forever.
Recent habitat projects include the Rook Waterfowl Production area N.W. of Ivanhoe and 80 acres in Limestone Township in Lincoln County.
The chapter also helped independent land owners enhance their CRP land with additional dollars to add pollinators to the seed mixes. The chapter’s 24th annual banquet will be September 14 in Lake Benton.
