Elizabeth Miller’s class has been digging into some hard subjects, but they’ve also taken the time to have a little fun as well. Miller shot a “selfie” (left), with a bunch of her students in the background. The students had a good time at the Youth Frontiers Kindness Retreat in Ivanhoe recently. Miller’s classes are also preparing for the Easter season.

In Third and Fourth Grade Religion: We are filling our “backpacks” for our Lenten Journey. As we prepare for Holy Week, we’ll look at the work Jesus has done on our hearts during this Lenten season.

In Fifth Grade Religion: We are continuing our study of the Gospels as we read together the daily Gospel Reading, learning and discussing the different teachings of Jesus.

In Third Grade Reading: We are finally starting to learn about the cursive capital letters and finding different ways to show what we’ve learned!

In Fifth Grade Reading/Homeroom: On Tuesday, March 13 our class went to the Youth Frontiers Kindness Retreat.

We spent a day where the YF staff treated us with “only kindness,” so that we could experience the power of treating others with respect!

In Third/Fourth Grade Science: We are continuing our lesson on the Engineer’s Design Process. We are excited to start finding solutions to problems and brainstorming inventions that can solve those problems!

In Third/Fourth Grade Social Studies: We are continuing learning about the Nation’s Government — what are the different levels and what do they do?
