Power of the Purse

Power of the Purse is an exciting event that brings together women from throughout southwest Minnesota with a commitment to our youngest learners.

The 2018 Power of the Purse event is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 26 at the Ramada Inn, Marshall.

All money raised will be used for local initiatives that help effectively prepare young children in our area for kindergarten.

Proceeds from this event support efforts such as Imagination Library, Wild About Kindergarten Bags, 1000 Books Before Kindergarten, Born Learning Trails, Little Red Bookshelf and more!

The evening will include: fabulous purses, silent auction, delicious food, ladies' night out and an investment in early childhood education and literacy.

Silent auction items can be previewed, starting now up to the event, on the website or on the Power of the Purse 2018 event page located on the United Way of Southwest Minnesota Facebook page.

Tickets for the event are available and tables of six, eight and 10 are available. Seating is limited.
