Minneota man taken into custody for armed robbery at residence in Marshall

A Minneota man was taken into custody and booked on Saturday night in connection with an armed robbery in Marshall.
The Marshall Police Department responded to a report of a robbery at 9:09 p.m. on Saturday, May 15 in the 500 block of Village Drive in Marshall.
Officers made contact with a single victim at the scene, who was not physically harmed during the incident.
Through investigation, two male suspects were identified and later located in Yellow Medicine County. The two males, 33-year-old Leonte Larry High Town of Minneota and 29-year-old Matthew James Williams of Marshall were taken into custody without incident or injury by the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Office and transported to Marshall.
The two males were booked into the Lyon County jail. The case was submitted to the Lyon County Attorney's Office for formal charges.
High Town is charged with 1st degree aggravated robbery and 2nd degree aggravated robbery. Williams is also being charged with 1st and 2nd degree aggravated robbery, as well as damage to property and obstruction of legal process.
Court dates have not yet been set.
The Lyon County Sheriff's Office and Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Office assisted with the incident.
