FFA teams advance to state
On Friday, two Minneota FFA judging teams competed at the Region V contest with both the Dairy Evaluation and General Livestock teams advancing to the state convention on April 29.
The Dairy Evaluation team placed second overall, just behind the team from Hutchinson. Minneota’s top contestants were Grady Moorse with his sixth place finish and Brooke Moorse finishing 12th.
Other team members are Logan Schuelke, Josh Schuelke, Levi Vierstraete and Joe Verschelde.
The General Livestock team placed seventh overall. Minneota’s top contestant was Rachel Vlaminck placing sixth.
Other team members include Layne Lozinski, Brynn Lozinski, Lane Loyson, Jack Lacek and Dylan Vlaminck.
FFA Co-Advisor Garrett Moorse said, “It was a successful region competition this morning!”
