FFA enjoys success at first competition

On Wednesday, October 9, the Minneota FFA traveled to the University of Minnesota Fall Invitational on the St. Paul campus.
Minneota competed in the general livestock and dairy evaluation categories.
Minneota FFA co-advisor Garrett Moorse said, “We had a team compete in both General Livestock and Dairy Evaluation. This is always a great refresher for us!”
The General Livestock team placed 28th out of 82 teams, with Rachel Vlaminck being 25th overall.
Other members include Lane Loyson, Dylan Vlaminck, and Jack Lacek.
The Dairy Evaluation team placed sixth out of 46 teams, with Grady Moorse placing 12th and Brooke Moorse placing 15th overall.
The team also includes Zack Fier, Logan Schuelke, and Joe Verschelde.
