The Chippewa County Historical Society will host their Annual Banquet/Annual Meeting on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, 6:00 p.m., at the Clara City Community Center in Clara City.

The evening will begin with a catered dinner by Trish’s Katering. Following the Annual Meeting, the Society will induct the 2020 Hall of Fame nominees. Doug can be seen in the Pioneer Public TV series, ‘Landmarks’, and is well known for his Minnesota ByWays series of books. The program will bring to life the 1930s and the innovative economic programs that were the nations response to the Great Depression.

You will learn about the legacy of programs such at the WPA, CCC, NYA and some lesser known, but important, programs.
