Blood Drive was a success

It was a great day at the Minneota community blood drive on Wednesday, June 24 with 44 presenting, 3 deferrals, 1 incomplete and 9 Power Reds for a total of 49 units. We went over our goal of 39 by 10 units. Thank you to first time donors: Angela Anderson, Terri Gorecki, and Karen Swedzinski. Milestone donors were: Carol Williams-19 gallons, Brad Minnehan-1 gallon and Betty Gossen-9 gallons. Thank you to all who took time out of their busy day to donate blood.
We would like to thank the Rotary members for calling the blood donors. Thank you to the American Legion for donating the site. A special thank you to Judy Traen, Lois VanDePutte, Brenda Verschelde, Kathy Wyffels, Pauline Wambeke, Glenda Fink, Loralee Miller and Marcia Vlaminck for volunteering as greeters, in the canteen area and temperature takers.
