The SMSU Planetarium will host a pair of “Spooky Space: Cosmic Connections to Halloween” shows on Thursday, Oct. 31 at 4 and 7 p.m. The show will include a laser light display entitled “Fright Light.” Space has its monsters, says Planetarium Director Dr. Ken Murphy.
“Black holes, zombie stars and spectacular ghostly nebulae,” he said. Come learn about these wonders of the universe, along with other mysterious phenomena happening in space, including a close-up look at humanity’s relationship with the moon.
“This is a new production for the Planetarium,” said Murphy. The laser show will follow.
