MINNEOTA PUBIC LIBRARY NOVEMBER NEWS

Saturday Morning Story Hour starts Nov. 19

Saturday Morning Story Hour at the library is this Saturday, Nov. 19 at 10:30 a.m. All kids ages 3-10 are invited to attend!
Our December story hour will include a visit from Santa, who will hand out goody bags to all kids in attendance. Parents: this is a photo-with-Santa opportunity for you, so bring your cameras!
The 2023 Winter Reading Program for adults is taking shape. The theme this year will be “Get Wrapped in Reading” and there will be a “keeping warm” theme to our prizes. We will again offer mugs, but there will also be warm socks and blankets to help us be “comfy” while we read. There is a change in the time-frame for the 2023 Winter Reading Program, as it will be in January and February only. In past years, we’ve gone to the end of March.
I’m hoping that all of our patrons who use a computer and have internet access are using the online catalog to find and order books. It has a different look than in the past, so it is much easier to see which libraries in the Plum Creek System have the books that you are looking for. The Aspen Discovery layer clearly states which books are regular print or large print, eBook or audio-book. Our web page is a door to use many digital services … all you need is a library card.
If you have questions about what is offered and how to access it, stop by the library for a demonstration.
