Come Join Us! The Minneota School Board and staff are pleased to invite the public on Friday, October 26 for an all-community open house to view the renovations from phase I of the building project.

We are excited to show our community the upgrades that were completed over the past five months to your school building!

Major areas upgraded in phase I include the following:

a. Preschool and kindergarten rooms expanded with the addition of a bathroom in each room

b. Elementary bathrooms completely renovated with new plumbing and to meet ADA requirements

c. All old entrances replaced to meet ADA requirements

d. Brand new elementary air handler, replacing two older air handlers to help with better air quality

e. New cabinets and sinks in our elementary classrooms

f. Almost all new windows throughout the K-12 building

g. New outside elementary and high school lighting, including new lighting in the parking lot

h. Newly renovated gymnasium, including new LED lights

i. FACS (home economics) classroom expanded

j. New Title I and elementary technology classroom

k. Brand new LED lighting in the expanded classrooms, along with elementary hallways

l. Brand new flooring in our upstairs high school classrooms

m. Brand new window sills and blinds

n. Power upgraded through the building

o. Brand new doors in many of our classrooms

p. And much more!

You will have two options to tour:

1. Guided tour at 5:30 p.m. Meet in the Viking Hallway

2. Self-guided tour between the hours of 4:15-6:15 p.m.

After your tour, please stay and watch the Minneota Viking Volleyball Team play at home at 7 p.m. in the first round of the playoffs!
