Town events are well underway with something going on every weekend in Southwest Minnesota. If you plan on attending these events there are a few things you can do to have a safe and enjoyable time:

MOST IMPORTANT – Be respectful of the community you visit. Never forget that you are a guest.
Always check the weather and have plans if storms are expected.
Arrive early to parades and other events to find good parking and a place for you and your family.
Keep an eye on your kids and don’t let them run wild. They are your responsibility.
Drink lots of water to avoid a medical emergency.
Keep your stuff from being stolen. Secure your purses, cell phones, and other valuables.
Drink alcoholic beverages in moderation. You are not cute or funny when you are drunk, and your behavior may result in a ride to jail.
