GRANITE FALLS — Law officers took eight people into custody Thursday morning on drug-related charges following a drug task force investigation in Yellow Medicine County.
Officers with the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Department, Canby Police and CEE-VI Drug Task Force arrested the eight suspects for drug-related offenses in the cities of Canby and Porter, according to the Yellow Medicine Sheriff’s Department.
Sheriff Bill Flaten reported that the CEE-VI Drug Task Force has been working in the area over the past several months and a total of 10 criminal complaints have been made regarding the sales of controlled substances in the city of Canby.

Charges were filed Thursday against 10 suspects; eight were booked in the Yellow Medicine County Jail.
Two others were not located and warrants will be issued for their arrest in the coming days.
Arrested were: Kim Nicholas Merritt, 38, of Canby, second- and fourth-degree controlled substance sale, both felonies;
Rebecca Joan Larson, 28, of Canby, second- and fourth-degree controlled substance sale, both felonies;
Patrick Timothy Lynch, 28, of Canby, second-degree controlled substance sale, a felony;
Christopher Michael Birman, 21, of Porter, fifth-degree controlled substance sale, a felony;
Joshua Steven Fliss, 28, of Canby, fifth-degree controlled substance sale, a felony.
Robbi Jo Antony 47, of Canby, fifth-degree controlled substance sale, a felony.

Page Ann Fliss, 28, of Canby, fifth-degree controlled substance sale, a felony.

David Jon Nelson, 20, of Canby, fifth-degree controlled substance sale, a felony.

The above agencies were assisted by officers from the Montevideo Police Department, Willmar Police Department, Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, BLR Drug Task Force (Brown, Lyon and Redwood), Clarkfield Police Department and the Minnesota State Patrol.
