Area dairy farmers Kris, Kevin and Kurt Fier directed a $2,500 donation to the Minneota FFA through America’s Farmers Grow Communities sponsored by the Bayer Fund.
The Minnesota FFA Foundation will be livestreaming the upcoming Minnesota State FFA Convention to be held on the University of Minnesota campus in St. Paul from April 28-30.

On Friday, two Minneota FFA judging teams competed at the Region V contest with both the Dairy Evaluation and General Livestock teams advancing to the state convention on April 29.
The Minneota FFA held a Waffle Feed Sunday morning. Originally it was part of FFA week, but was moved because of inclement weather.
Grady Moorse and Josh Schuelke went into the elementary classroom last week during FFA Week to talk to the youngsters about dairy farms.
On Thursday afternoon, the Minneota FFA members gave hayrides around Minneota to the elementary students.
On Wednesday October 10, eight Minneota FFA members attended the University of Minnesota Fall Invitational in St. Paul. The two teams included the Dairy Cattle Evaluation team that placed 7th.
