Not only was the December school board meeting the last meeting of the calendar year, it also was the last meeting for Dawn Van Keulen after 17 years and Jeff Buysse after eight years.

A major winter storm ravaged this area last week, as well as a widespread area of the state, causing many roads to be closed and schools to be called off for multiple days.
After finishing third in the inaugural “Battle of the Bulbs” Christmas Lighting Contest in 2020, Tom and Kim Abraham were unable to enter the contest last year due to such a late harvest.
