Library finds answer to ‘Big Window’ problem

The question was: “What do we do with the big windows out front of the Minneota Library?” It a daunting job to decorate it and change it from time to time. Then, along came Barb Guttormsson.

“It’s so great to have Barb decorate our windows. She does such a great job,” said Librarian Mary Buysse.

She said it wouldn’t have been possible for her staff to bring the “special touch” to the windows.

And the displays must be light enough not to cause problems in the supports below.

Guttormsson brings with her a creative flair that has kept the library windows filled with displays reflect the community.

This month she’s created both a happy, spring into summer theme — while at the same time presenting the military theme, “Land of the Free, Because of the Brave,” as we head into Memorial Day 2017.
