The St. Ed’s Lenten Fish Fry

 “The fish was really good.” That’s the most popular comment after a St. Edward Church Fish Fry, and it was the same last week.

A very large crowd packed the church basement, and at times there were long lines, just to taste the fish.

It all starts outside the church where a truck trailer is set up and several boiling pots are creating the delicious-tasting fish.

Volunteer Kevin Buysse took some of the fish from the pot and put it in a pan for Wyatt Pohlen to deliver.

The very hot pots continued to simmer.

Then Pohlen delivered the tasty morsels to often hungry and appreciative guests, with Audyn Traen looking on behind him.
