Slam Dunk at Belgian-American Days

Kyle Thooft of Tyler used a dunking method to win the 17-and-under Waffle Eating Contest as part of Belgian-American Days on Saturday in Ghent. Thooft, who soaked his waffles in water before eating them, consumed nearly four large Belgian waffles in five minutes to win his age group. Levi Vierstraete was the men's winner and Mary Revel was the women's winner.
