Minneota National Honor Society inducts new members

On Sunday, October 13, the Minneota National Honor Society inducted new members for this school year.
The ceremony began with returning members reading about the four pillars of National Honor Society and lit the candles.
Each new inductee was sponsored by a member of the staff.
During the ceremony, each new member was introduced by the staff members as they highlighted the qualities necessary to be a part of National Honor Society.
New inductees include: Klaire Banks, junior; Audra
Buysse, junior; Olivia Mahan-Deitte, junior; Abby Rost, junior; Emily Rybinski, senior; Braxton Downing, junior; Jacob Haen, senior; Abby Hennen, junior; Braeden Panka, junior; and Caleb Sterzinger, junior.
The new inductees join current members: Cecilia Rabaey, senior; Natalie Bot, senior; Serena Breyfogle, senior; Faith Traen, senior; Molly Krog, senior; Morgan Hennen, senior and Cole Sanow, senior.
The new advisor for National Honor Society is Ms. Angela Lauer, who is the guidance counselor at the school.
The National Honor Society is reserved for students that excel in character, scholarship, service and leadership.
Activities that the National Honor Society is involved with throughout the year include blood drives and other community service events.
