LCHS meeting to be held June 1

The 2023 Lyon County Historical Society’s annual meeting will be held on Thursday, June 1 at the Marshall-Lyon County Public Library on 201 C Street in Marshall.
Social hour will be from 5-6 p.m., which includes a pizza buffet at 5:30 p.m. The business meeting, which will go over the 2022 annual report, will begin at 6 p.m. The guest speaker, LCHS President Bill Palmer, will begin at 6:30 p.m. His theme is “The Value of Oral Histories and Conducting Interviews.”
RSVP deadline was May 30.
