Gnome salute veterans

This gnome, which was shown unpainted in the Mascot several weeks ago, was recently painted and affixed with a flag for Veterans Day. The gnome was cut with a chainsaw from an old tree on the Phil and Margie Breyfogle home in Taunton by their son-in-law, Lee Jacobs. Phil Breyfogle, an Army veteran who recently turned 98, passed away last Friday evening.
