C/M boys, girls place first at Raymond
Canby/Minneota runners finished 1-2-3 in both the boys and girls races en route to each winning team titles in the Central Minnesota Christian Incvite Monday at Raymond.
Kolton Duis was first, Zach Ourada second and Blake Giese third and C/M won the boys’ race by 48 points.
Braelyn Merritt, Claire Stoks and Mya Pesek finished 1-2-3, respectively, in the girls’ race as C/M won by 39 points.

Luverne swept the boys and girls races last Thursday, while Canby/Minneota finished a close second. in each
The Cardinal girls edged Canby/Minneota by one point, 46-47.
Luverne won the boys’ race with 67 points, while Canby/Minneota was second with 90..
Luverne runners also won each individual race with Owen Janiszeski crossing the finish line first in the boys’ race in a time of 16:40.07. Kolton Duis and Zach Ourada of Canby/Minneota finished second and third.
Blake Giese of Canby/Minneota came in 10th, Sam Skorczewski 33rd and Hunter Danielson 44th.
Luverne’s Jenna DeBates won the girls’ race in a time of 18:42.24.
Braelyn Merritt of C/M was third, Claire Stoks fourth, Mya Pesek 10th, Jordyn Jostock 13th and Nohemi Diaz 17th.
