Bot wins jelly bean contest

Jan Bot of Minneota was the winner of the Mascot's Jelly Bean Guessing Contest, missing the exact amount by only two.
The total amount of jelly beans in the jar was 908. Bot guessed 910.
The winner received an Easter basket with candy, a gift certificate to Brad's Market, a travel mug, and four books written by local authors Gail (Wyffels) Boe, Bob Borson, Dana Yost and Scott Thoma and donated to the prize basket.
David Holey was the next closest with a guess of 873 (35 away), followed by Trudy Banks 868 (40), Judy Hagen 865 (43), and Joette Remme 954 (46). Those participating could only have one guess and could be either under or over the amount.
There was a total of 78 people submitting a guess.
