Each year Minneota kids get a chance to hear about the need to plant trees. And on Arbor Day they got a chance to see Rodney Rye plant one across from the St. Edward’s School.
Bud Bernardy, an original member of the tree committee (seen between Rye’s machine), was on hand.
The kids, watching the planting, also were handed trees to take home and plant. Arbor Day is always a special day in the Minneota community.
