Last week, I got the privilege to borrow an old cookbook from a fellow reader. It is a little dated, still has most of the pages and was made here in Minneota by the Young Ladies’ Union of St.
Monday was Vince LeGare’s 86th birthday. He wasn’t there to celebrate it. My good friend Vince passed away about 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, leaving me with a hollow, empty feeling.
When you meet someone only once in your life, it's generally difficult to come away with an accurate understanding of that person.
This Sunday will be marked with showering mothers, grandmothers, aunts and mother-figures with days off from chores, flowers, cards, jewelry, buffets and more in for Mother’s Day.
