Mary Louise (Lindberg) Baugher,

Mary Louise (Lindberg) Baugher, 82, was born into eternity on July 20, 2020 to be with her Lord and Savior she spent her life on earth faithfully serving. Mary Louise was born on Oct. 7, 1937 to Arthur and Lucille (Mingo) Lindberg in Minneapolis.
At age 15, she met Jerry Baugher in California and three months later they eloped, driving to where they were married in Amarillo, TX on March 16, 1953. From there, the adventures began, culminating in 67 years of marriage, five daughters, three sons, a multitude of grandchildren (36) and great-grandchildren (68 and counting). She knew all their stories, loved and prayed for each of them.
Faith, family and friends were the center of her life. She raised her eight children, but was always willing to take care of others. She and Jerry worked as cooks for two years at the Twin Wells Indian School in Arizona, loving on those children. For several summers starting in 1980, they served at Strawberry Lake Christian Camp in northern Minnesota working in hospitality, dietary and yard work. She also worked as a CNA at the Minneota Manor. They lived in Minneota for 20 years. The most fun job she said she had was working at Camden State Park in Minnesota as a maintenance worker driving dump trucks.
She enjoyed gardening, birds, turtles, spelunking, antique/thrift store shopping, reading, studying the Word of God, traveling, talking with people and sharing her love of the Lord. She was able to travel to Germany and China to visit daughters who lived there.
She spent her life being a faithful servant bringing love, wisdom and beauty everywhere she went and was an example of how we should live our lives. With her generous heart she inspired, loved and prayed for many of us. Her strong and unwavering faith are part of the legacy that she leaves us all.
Mary Louise will be missed by so many who are comforted in knowing she is in the arms of our Savior who greeted her.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Jerry, her children Rita (Dan) Koosman of Eagle River, AK; Stephen (Peg) Baugher of Marshall, MN; Kevin (Brenda) Baugher of Columbus, NE; Terrance (Ellen) Baugher of Dawson, MN; Barbara (Steven) Stirn of Worthington, MN; Kelli (Steven) Nothem of Gilcrest, CO; Janice (Robert) Case of Guthrie, OK; and Maria (Daniel) Settles of Claremore, OK; one sister Geraldine Miskowiec of Camarillo, CA; brothers Ted (Marie Claire Remington) Lindberg of Minnetonka, MN; and Butch (Bea) Lindberg of Buffalo, MN; and brother-in-law Fred Baugher.
