During the week of May 9 - 12, 2017, the Chippewa County Historical Society hosted our annual Heritage Week which began in 1977. During this four day period, 1,433 school children and adults attended this popular annual event with 43 Minneota Public School and 24 St. Edward Catholic School children and adults in attendance. The Minneota community can be very proud of their youth.

The children who joined us for Heritage Week were polite and considerate to the other students and adults in attendance, attentive to the instructors and "Village Residents" and they were well prepared for their visit to Historic Chippewa City.

Minneota Public Schools and St. Edward Catholic School teachers have done a wonderful job in teaching your children about their heritage.

Your school and community can be proud of your students and your teachers.
