Want to bake up some yummy treats for Fido the dog?

This recipe will be just the thing for your furry friend.

Pumpkin & Peanut Butter Dog Treats

• 2/3 cup pumpkin puree
• 1/4 cup peanut butter
• 2 large eggs
• 3 cups whole wheat flour, more or less, as needed

1) Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2) Use electric mixer fitted with the paddle, beat pumpkin puree, peanut butter and eggs on medium-high until well combined, (1-2 minutes). Gradually add 2 1/2 cups flour at low speed, beating just until mixed. Add an additional flour gradually just until dough is no longer sticky.

3) Knead the dough on lightly floured surface 3-4 times. Use rolling pin, roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Use cookie cutters of your choice and place onto baking sheet.

4) Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

5) Let cool before feeding treats.
