Bug Days are this weekend and this recipe is a great gift to give or sell in a jar.

This recipe is from “Gifts in a Jar for Kids” cookbook.

Chocolate Chip Muffin Delights Mix & Directions

Mix:

• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 1/2 cups finely crushed graham cracker crumbs
• 1 cup mini chocolate chips
• 1 cup crushed walnuts or pecans

Layer the ingredients in the order given into a wide-mouth 1-quart jar. Attach a gift tag with the baking directions.

Baking directions:

1 jar Chocolate Chip Muffin Delight Mix

• 1/2 cup evaporated milk
• 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted

Preheat the oven to 375°F. In a large bowl, mix evaporated milk and butter.

Add the Chocolate Chip Muffin Delights Mix.

Stir until the mixture is well blended. Pour into a greased mini muffin pan.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Transfer to wire racks to cool.

Yield: 2-3 dozen
