Schools out May 19; Please drive with care
Are you really in that big of a hurry that you need to risk your life or that of someone else?

The last day of school in Minneota is May 19 and with it kids will be out and about having fun.

Drivers need to take extra care and look for kids playing, riding bikes or simply not paying attention. Yes, kids should be paying attention and the parents of these kids should be teaching them to stay out of the street but as drivers we too need to do our part to prevent someone from being killed.

Please make sure you stop at stop signs and look both ways. If a child needs to cross the street, please come to a complete stop and wave them across.

The speed limit may be 30 miles per hour in the residential neighborhoods but nothing says you can't drive 25 miles per hour or less.

Are you really in that big of a hurry that you need to risk your life or that of someone else?
