The 2017 Bug Days has come and gone and this year was a great success. I saw many families laughing, eating and enjoying the music and events.

The variety of entertainment along with activities makes Bug Days unique in our region and one of the most family orientated events around.

With that being said it is important to remember that no event occurs without a few people needing special attention from law enforcement.

Those who required my services are not locals and had chosen to make some very poor decisions.

Thankfully, no one from the public was injured and we were able to deal with these individuals professionally and quickly.

It’s the goal of the City of Minneota and all of emergency services to keep you safe and in doing that we take great pride.

Thank you to everyone who attended and we hope to see you next year.
