Ask the Chief
An old parking problem that has started to show up again is parents stopping and letting their kids out at school in the bus drop off zone. This zone is clearly marked and is only to be used by the busses.
The purpose is to prevent cars from maneuvering around the busses as they drop kids off at school. It makes it much harder to unload kids from a bus when cars are coming and going (or parked) in the bus loading zone.
There is a parent drop-off area on the east side of the school for the elementary and another on the westside for the high school. I anticipate that this problem will get worse as the temperature falls.
Please obey the signs and help keep the roads around our public school safe for everyone.
