Are you ready to start seeing school buses picking up kids? It is something that you should start looking for.

Do you know that whenever you see a school bus in front of you with the stop arm extended that you must come to a complete stop?

Every year we have people who drive past an extended stop arm. This offense is a misdemeanor and can be a gross misdemeanor if children are out of the bus.

The worst case scenario is a child being hit by a car because the driver wasn't paying attention.

My advice is to avoid school buses. If you see one in front of you, turn. Always expect a school bus to stop and let kids off.

Give them plenty of room so that you can seem them and the kids can see you. SLOW DOWN.

The few extra minutes it takes to be safe is nothing compared to the life of a child.
