Ask the Chief

I was greatly saddened to hear of the loss of your son.

Although I didn't know him well, I want you to see him through the eyes of your Police Chief. Donnie was always smiling. I don't recall a time when I saw him without a smile.

I remember feeling down and burdened with a case, but when I saw his smile it cheered me up and reminded me to smile and be happy. Donnie was always respectful. He was quick to shake my hand.

He was quick to say hi and he was quick to show me respect, both personally and professionally. Based upon my time with Donnie, I believe him to have integrity and honor.

I will always remember him with a smile on my face and I thank GOD that I had the opportunity know him.

I will keep your family in my prayers.
