100 Years Ago

One of my favorite things to write about is when it involves local history that many people are unfamiliar with, making those stories even more interesting.
On Christmas Eve morning, a package arrived at the library and I immediately opened it. Inside were two books tied together with a red ribbon.

Local residents were saddened with the news that the Minneota Manor, a mainstay in town, would be closing its doors on Dec. 2.
The world has been living with the pandemic and its effects for two years, and in many ways, they seem the longest two years in history. Things are returning to a regular rhythm, though.
