The Avera Marshall Foundation board of directors has named Abby Ennenga as its new Executive Director.
Fifteen members of the four parishes of the Good Teacher Area Faith Community, including one outside the parish, will be embarking on a mission trip to Mexico in June.

7 p.m. — A total solar eclipse of the sun is coming up this year on August 21, 2017. Marshall viewers will see a 90 percent coverage of the sun. In preparation for the eclipse, a number of Southwest Minnesota State University Planetarium shows are planned to cover many details of the eclipse, including eye safety. Special eclipse viewing glasses will be available for $3 apiece at the planetarium shows. Planetarium show dates include: • Friday, April 7, 7 p.m.; • Saturday, April 8, 7 p.m.; • Monday, June 19, 7 p.m.; • Thursday, July 20, 7 p.m.; • August 16, 17, 18, & 19, 7 p.m.
